Neoaxess is proud to have been selected by Vinci Grands Projets to secure access to the construction site of line 3 of the Cairo Metro in Egypt.
This contract, which includes 30 high security double turnstiles for securing access to the Metro Tunnel, will be based on Neoaxess ‘Visioaxess software solution integrated into the HSEQ management software developed by Vinci Construction’ s Grands Projets IT team.
The work done by Vinci and Bouygues involves a crossing under the Nile and includes 17.7 km of line and 15 stations, including eight underground, five aerial and two ground. Once completed, Line 3 will carry five million passengers a day on a 100 km network.
The consortium led by VINCI Construction Grands Projets, with Bouygues Travaux Publics, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, has already completed 35 km of lines and 35 stations in the Egyptian capital.
This partnership is expected to last a few more years, as the two French companies won the contract for phase 3 of Line 3 of the Egyptian capital’s metro for € 1.1 billion.
